Mohammed
Morsi, 60, of the Muslim Brotherhood, is elected as the new president of Egypt.
Tens of thousands of his supporters gathered in Tahrir square for the sixth day
of a sit-in waiting desperately for the winner of the elections. Mohammed Morsi
won 51.7 percent of the votes. His victory is only one step closer to improving
the government in Egypt. The Brotherhood Leaders promised to continue the
sit-in and fight to reinstate the Parliament.
